65@65 SWIM #8 THE 40 FOOT DROP, DUBLIN.

Sandycove, Dublin, of James Joyce and Ulysses fame, swimming in the shadow of the Martello Tower. Seals and people enjoying the frolicsome water - a lovely swimming scene here, people coming and going, very warm and welcoming. I swam out into the bay, and was nuzzled by a seal, then was accompanied by a seal for the rest of the swim. Like labradors of the water. Lunch in one of the wonderful cafes in Sandycove. Thinking became very Joycean, with stream of thought conversations in my head with the seal of my imagination, that kept following me everywhere in Dublin.
